I could not pass up the opportunity to visit Château de Versailles on my visit to France. Made infamous by King Louis XIV of France, this palace is a golden reminder of the grandeur of the time. About a 30 minute train ride from Paris, the Palace of Versailles greets you with golden gates. Below are some highlights of the inside of this grand estate.
