Emily & Emery | Snowy Couples Portrait Session | Cleveland Engagement Photographer
It’s technically SPRING now! Even if the weather doesn’t know yet. It rained AND snowed the day before this session. Gotta love Ohio!
I headed to Cuyahoga Valley National Park with Emily and Emery (yes, their names are even perfect together) for their outdoor couple’s session. According to the forecast their session was supposed to be sunny and warm but on the day of it actually snowed. Ohio weather is always keeping me on my toes. Emily and Emery were such champs and made it through this chilly session smoothly. We spent the session at Ledges Overlook in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I love this overlook! If the sun was out we would have been able to see the sunset but it the view was still spectacular even without the sun.
For this session I implemented some of my learnings from The Heart Workshop and I am so pleased with the results. Once again (and from know on) I used active prompts to allow me to capture natural laughs and love instead of stiff or awkward poses.

Emily and Emery ran around and laughed a whole lot during this wild session. These high school sweethearts were total rockstars when it came to following through on the prompts I gave them. From dancing to running to tickle fights, they rocked it! Check out the photos below for a taste of this snowy session.
